Welcome to Teak Time Pet Sitting
and Dog Walking Service where we focus on the comfort and needs
of your animal family. Our purpose is to provide you and your
pets with quality nurturing care while you are away, whether
it is for an afternoon or overnight.
We at Teak Time pride ourselves in our genuine love and respect
for animals and their human companions.
The following terms are to provide you with all pertinent information
regarding the care of your pets and your home.
We specialize in Dogs and Cats, Fish, and Reptiles. Birds are
a part of many peoples animal family and we love to care for
them. We do require a $10.00 consultation charge for birds so
that we can meet them and establish a comfortable relationship
with them for their comfort and safety as well as the safety
and comfort of our staff.

Terms of Service:
*Teak Time Pet Sitting and
Dog Walking Service will provide you with a free consultation
with your individual dog walker and pet sitter. We encourage
our clients to meet more than one of our sitters and dog walkers
in case of schedule conflicts, or change of scheduling. This
provides you the client with consistent quality service and a
full staff to accommodate any schedule(s). If there your pet
sitter becomes ill, or for any reason is not able to perform
the job to my expectations, I will have an alternate come and
take over the job.
All of our employees
succumb to extensive background checks, which include criminal,
driving and personal and employment checks. We at Teak Time Pet
Sitting and Dog Walking Service pride ourselves on our hiring
tactics. During your free consultation, please
take as much time as you need to learn all about your pet sitter
and dog walker. Your comfort is the most important aspect of
our business. All employees of Teak Time are required to sign a non-compete contract with our company. Any employees who solicit or are offered any side jobs or opportunity to work for one of our clients will be immediately terminated and subject to legal prosecution.
*Included in your packet is
a questionnaire, please fill this out so that we can provide
a copy to your pet sitter/dog walker and have one in the office.
This information packet provides us with all the pertinent information
about your animal(s), emergency contact information, allergies,
medications, etc.
It also provides us with information about your pet(s) likes
and dislikes, and most importantly what they like to do for fun.
*Our overnight service is provided in the home of the animal(s).
We also offer overnight service with Cindy the rate is $65/night for two pets. Pick and drop off service can be provided for an added Pet Taxi fee. Please provide a key or entry code, as well as any special entry
instructions for your pet sitter and dog walker. We will return
the key after the service is complete and you are home. Just
in case there is an emergency or your return is delayed, we want
to insure the safety and well being of your pet(s). Teak Time
can hold onto your key as well if you are a regular client.
*Overnight service begins at
7p.m. and includes an evening walk, and ends in the morning after
a morning walk or play session (45 min - 1 hour). $55.00
*Afternoon Checks are an additional charge of $22.00. Please
specify the time of day for the afternoon check, current mileage rates do apply to all areas outside of the city limits.
Your overnight service fee is for a maximum of 2 pets, each additional
animal will be $12.00 per night. Additional charges will apply for multiple pets exceeding 3 to one household. These rates are negotiable upon our service agreement.
A $5.00 charge will be added to the afternoon check for each
additional animal.
Overnight service includes, watering plants, lights on and off,
mail pick up, fish feedings, etc.
*Because we will be staying
in your home we do offer some complimentary services: mail and
newspaper retrieval, and watering plants inside the home. Any
additional requests which fall under the house sitting category
need to be cleared with the office first. We will need a copy
of any requests for your pet sitter and for management. The request
needs to be signed by the pet sitter and by management. If the
requests are above the services we provide, we will assess an
additional fee, and the cooperation of the individual pet sitter.
Our terms are a minimum of 24 hour cancellation notice, or a $15.00 fee will be applied to your bill.
Please provide payment on or before the date of service.
For weekly schedules, payments should be made on the first day of service for that week. Those clients that prefer to be billed monthly payment is due on the first of the month, no acceptions.
All food delivery: payment is due on the day of delivery.
We accept checks and cash for payment. No credit cards please, we will be adding this service on in the near future. We apologize for any inconvenience.
All scheduling, changes, questions, etc. need to go through the office, not through your pet sitter/dog walker.
Please call us anytime, your peace of mind and security is our number one priority.
Keys and Codes, it is your responsibility to provide us with access to your home, via key or security code, garage door etc. We do recommend making (2) copies of your house key. One for the office and one with your pet sitter, accidents do happen and people lose keys. This is very rare, but when dealing with pets we want to insure that under any circumstance we will be able to access your home. In addition please provide us with an emergency contact and insure that they also have some access to your home.
